Job Title: Legal Analyst
Requirements:
Experience consulting with major corporations and law firms to discover and leverage key electronic information. Must be a self starter with the willingness to learn and be comfortable interacting with diverse groups including executive and senior level management. Excellent organizational and analytical skills in the context of complex litigation is preferred.
In this key position, you'll have a variety of responsibilities including the following:
• Manage and execute proprietary software and methods to critically assess the legal content related to client’s key electronic information utilizing legal analysis skills, and effective research techniques.
• Perform analysis on the content of electronic information and provide feedback that supports and provides clarity to client’s strategic legal decision process.
• Manage projects throughout their life cycle and translate client’s key requirements for internal technical teams managing the proprietary software.
• Must be comfortable working with clients technical team members who will be responsible for managing the collection and preservation process of discoverable material.
• Provide all necessary legal support and analysis during the project lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain and deliver Arête Legal internal and external education and training classes & seminars pertaining to use of the discoverable content on its proprietary platform.
• Enforce all protocols related to electronic discovery and maintain strict standards of client confidentiality both internally and while working in the client environment.
Qualifications:
Project management experience required
Understanding of technology
Superior research skills
Comfortable working in collaborative non-traditional environment
Experience with electronic discovery issues a plus

Work Location: 400 Lydia Drive, Carnegie, PA 15106
Duties and Responsibilities: Ideal candidate shall be responsible for Implementing leading-edge applications using Software development tools in an N-Tier environment for proprietary corporate products at ASE Edge Inc. This includes securing the application from all ends, fine-tuning and performance enhancement on load.
Perform object-oriented design of technical objects & actually implement these concepts in development of ASE Edge's Products/Services.
As a technology team member at ASE the candidate must be responsive to client needs, willing to put extra effort to meet deadlines, participate in on call rotation, & be able to share his/her work.
Candidate must constantly demonstrate and improve his/her ability to analyze and solve problems.
Skill Requirements: BS, Computer Sciences, or related discipline
- 5+ years related experience
- Architecting / developing web systems that support millions of users.
- Visual Studio , C# , VB.net , ADO.Net, AJAX, XML (XSL), ASPX, HTML, DHTML. JavaScript, in a MS .NET architecture environment.
- Designing and developing .Net Web Services.
- Object-oriented concepts and methodologies required along with a working knowledge of .NET framework.
- Web and Database related technologies that support both front and back-end solutions
- Development lifecycle process in an n-tier environment.
- Version control system, e.g. Microsoft Visual Source Safe (VSS).
- Object oriented analysis and design practices (object modeling, use cases, activity diagrams, UML).
- MS SQL2005 or SQL2000.
- Competent writing T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and User defined functions.
